Sweetie, darling

Sweetie, darling

There’s nothing  hotter than Patsy and Eddy right now, except a cinema full of them!

Fans at premiere screenings across the country for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, were lucky enough to enjoy seeing Patsy Stone and Eddiena Monsoon (aka Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders) live in person on the gold carpet! Oozing glitz, glamour, (and names, names, names, sweetie!) and along with enough sequins to sink the Titanic, the two PR mavens proved they still know how to pull a crowd and break out the Bolli!

Featuring an ‘A-list’ of celebrities and fashionistas including Kate Moss, Lilly Cole, Jerry Hall, Stella McCartney, Suki Waterhouse, Alex Chung and Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few, the Australian flag was flying high. Australian talent includes Rebel Wilson, Dame Edna / Barry Humphries featuring, plus the film’s theme song “This Wheel’s On Fire” is covered by our singing budgie, Kylie Minogue.

Palace Cinemas celebrates the release of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie with advance screenings from Wednesday, August 3 ahead of opening night events on August 4.
