Movie Club Members' Special Preview of THE GHOST WRITER [MA15+]

Palace Movie Club is thrilled to offer our members the opportunity to be one the first to see THE GHOST WRITER [MA15+], directed by Roman Polanski (Chinatown) starring Ewan McGregor at Palace Balywn, Cinema Como, Dendy Brighton, George and Westgarth prior to its official release on Thursday 5 August and Friday 6 August for the exclusive rate of $10.

 

The story revolves around a ghost writer (Ewan McGregor) hired to complete the memoirs of an ex-British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) after the accidental death of the original scribe. As soon as "the ghost" is transported from London to the stylish windswept island retreat that the ex-PM shares with his wife (Olivia Williams), P.A. (Kim Cattrall) and a host of security personal, he regrets taking on the job. But things only worsen when the ex-PM is accused of war crimes, sparking a media frenzy; and as "the ghost" starts to unravel a complex web of intrigue more sinister than he could ever imagine, it becomes more and more apparent that his life is in jeopardy...
