OVER 200 CINEMAS SPANNING 6 CONTINENTS UNITE FOR ONE WEEK FOR THE WORLD'S FIRST GLOBAL FILM FESTIVAL

SYDNEY -You Be the Judge!

An extraordinary global event takes place the week of September 25th to October 2nd 2011 when over 100,000 people in over 250 cities across six continents gather in Cinemas, Galleries, Universities, Museums and Cafes for one purpose...to view and vote on the Finalists' Films in the Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival

Emerging from humble beginnings in downtown Manhattan and created by Aussie Nick Mason, the Festival is now celebrating its 13th year.

Nick Mason, a former Australian actor/director left for NYC 12-years-ago to pursue his acting career. With a small budget, Mason decided to screen a series of Short Films onto the side of a delivery truck on Mulberry Street, Downtown Soho- Manhattan. Support for the festival began to grow each year, with audiences travelling from all over NYC to see the shorts. Over time, this small art-house project morphed into the global phenomenon it is today.
