For Mahmud Nasir (Omar Djalli) being a Muslim living in the UK hasn’t been too easy these past few years, but just as he’s learning to live with the suspicious looks and snide comments he finds out that not only is he adopted, but he’s also Jewish. Enlisting the help of a local Jewish cab driver to help discover his roots – while trying to hide them from his friends and family – Mahmud finds his crisis of identity proves a little more than he can handle.

A tongue-in-cheek swipe at religion, family and the absurdity of racism, The Reluctant Infidel is a British farce for the modern age, written by author and stand-up comedian David Baddiel.
