From the director of the internationally award-winning, The Sugar Factory – comes a beautiful film about meaning, love, connection and laughter. Set in the stunning Australian desert in 2017, a lone woman digs holes in the sand hunting for something mysterious. A company man, a failed comedian, is ordered to bring her back to the city against her will. Two confused teenagers run from the law, steal a car, and trap themselves together in the desert. When they meet head on, the four, isolated in their different ways, are forced to survive together as time and water begins to run out. Against the odds, can they find what is missing from their lives – meaning, love, laughter, connection – before it is too late.
