Bradley Cooper is currently in talks to team up with auteur Paul Thomas Anderson for Anderson’s latest project. Anderson’s latest film is a very secretive venture, which is being described as a coming-of-age story set in 1970s San Fernando Valley, the terrain Anderson famously showcased in films like Magnolia and Boogie Nights, and also happens to be the area in which he grew up. There is currently no word about what role Cooper is set to play.
The star of American Sniper, American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook and A Star is Born is already slated to appear in Guillermo Del Toro’s Nightmare Alley, a role originally targeted to Leonardo DiCaprio. The film currently has no title and recently moved from Focus Features to MGM, which has been picking up projects in recent months during the widespread pandemic.
We are big lovers of PTA and Cooper so this will undoubtedly be an exciting collaboration!
