Palace Cinemas & Connoisseur Gourmet Ice-Cream are rolling out the red carpet for a very special advance Film Connoisseur Platinum Gala of visionary director Taika Waititi’s irreverent and poignant satire, JOJO RABBIT (M) on Sunday, December 15, ahead of the film’s Boxing Day release.

Join us from 3.15pm for a glass of prosecco on arrival, before the screening commences at 3.30pm with in-cinema service of a delicious Connoisseur Choc-Top platter.

Writer-director Taika Waititi (HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE, WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as Jojo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
