In Cornwall, the band are back together auditioning for new members, sparking a long queue of UK warblers. They finally settle on new recruit Morgan (Richard Harrington, The Crown), but the band’s leader Jim (James Purefoy, Fisherman’s Friends BFF19) is having some doubts, worried that the band is losing its edge. While Jim has a budding romance with the explosive rock singer Aubrey Flynn (played by real-life Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May) on the cards, bumpy seas lie ahead for our intrepid troubadours.
With the odds stacked against them, can the Fisherman’s Friends make it to the performance of their lives to play the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival – or will they end up floundering? One thing is for certain, this lovable British musical comedy will reel you in all over again!
