Alexander

A feature film inspired by true events created by Shaun Gonzalvo and Co-Directed by Amanda Corrie. Alexander is an LGBT Psychological Drama that represents an individuals state of mental health and how they dealt with isolation and darkness.
Who are you? It’s a simple question, right? We are told from a young age how to act, how to move, not to cry and how to live. Alexander was told that he should be something that he is not. How can he survive if it seems there’s no way out?
This film is written, produced, directed and starring Shaun Gonzalvo. This is a story on how Director Shaun  dealt with his mental health throughout a period of his life. It was difficult and hard but was worth it at the end.

After winning the state finals of the Raw Comedy Competition, Emo made a successful debut in Melbourne and FRINGE WORLD 2019 with his show, Not Quite Grown, Yet, rated ★★★★ by Fringefeed. He doubled down in 2020 with Just Your Typical Aussie. He’s back to dig a little deeper into his experiences of culture-clash, with side-splitting stories of adjusting from a refugee camp in East Africa to gifting out jokes globally with his new show Black Santa.

Love Letters tells the story of Melissa and Andy — childhood friends who go their separate ways but remain in contact with each other through their entire lives by writing letters. It took a year to find the courage to change the things he could change; while she found serenity to accept the things she could not. Between them, they found wisdom and an unexpected friendship connected by secrets and shame. Punch and Cuddle is the story of a three people searching for answers and acceptance.

A mother, an alcoholic and a sex worker find love when they find forgiveness. As their truths unfold, you may question what defines you and who accepts you. Sometimes you need to feel the punch before you can truly appreciate the cuddle.
