May December
Awards Season Preview

With a glass of prosecco or wine on arrival!

Watch Trailer

Take in Todd Haynes’ critically acclaimed ode to female toxicity with an Awards Season preview of May December starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore.

Join us for a complimentary glass of prosecco or wine before the preview!

Hailed as “one of the best films of the year” (Detroit News), in May December award-winning director Todd Haynes (Safe, Carol) masterfully explores one of the great talents of the human species: our colossal refusal to look at ourselves.

Despite what began as a shocking affair, then 36-year old Gracie (Academy Award winner Julianne Moore) and 13-year old Joe (Charles Melton) now lead a seemingly picture-perfect suburban life some 20 years later. Their domestic bliss is disrupted when Elizabeth (Academy Award winner Natalie Portman), a famous actress, arrives in their tight-knit community to research her upcoming role as Gracie. As Elizabeth ingratiates herself into the everyday lives of Gracie and Joe, the uncomfortable facts of their scandal unfurl, causing long-dormant emotions to resurface.

The film’s lead trio of Moore, Portman, and Melton ignite the captivating slow-burn with sensitive, thoughtful, and provocative performances.
