Palace Cinemas & Connoisseur Gourmet Ice-Cream invite you to an exclusive opening-night event for Academy Award-nominated director, Sofia Coppola’s latest film On The Rocks (M) at a special Film Connoisseur Screening on October 2.

Join us from 6.15pm for a glass of prosecco and a Connoisseur Gourmet Ice-Cream stick on arrival, before the screening commences at 6.30pm. (Some sessions added, see below for additional venue-specific start times)

The highly-anticipated dramedy will be the first theatrical collaboration between Coppola and Bill Murray since Lost In Translation, the film that solidified Coppola as a director, nabbing the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay as well as nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Bill Murray. On The Rocks follows Laura (Rashida Jones), who thinks she’s happily hitched, but when her husband Dean (Marlon Wayans) starts logging late hours at the office with a new co-worker, Laura begins to fear the worst. She turns to the one man she suspects may have insight: her charming, impulsive father Felix (Murray), who insists they investigate the situation. As the two begin prowling New York at night, careening from uptown parties to downtown hotspots, they discover at the heart of their journey lies their own relationship
