POTTERFEST – A Harry Potter Marathon

Event Information

Join us for over 20 hours of wizarding wonder at POTTERFEST – a Harry Potter Marathon, screening at select Palace Cinemas around the country! 
 
The twenty-three hour marathon will be showing at Palace Centro in Brisbane, Chauvel Cinema in Sydney, The Astor Theatre in Melbourne, and Palace Electric in Canberra, and will include all eight Harry Potter Films back-to-back, plus a screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.  
 
There’s no better way to catch up on all things Potter before Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is released, so wingardium leviosa yourself out of bed and get ready to experience the magic with Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Luna, Neville, Albus, Severus, Minerva, Draco, Lucius, Bellatrix, Vold… um.. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, and a few fantastic beasts thrown in for good measure.  
Of course, both muggles and wizards are welcome.  Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes early to ensure there’s no delay in leaving platform 9&3/4.

Synopsis

Based on British author J.K. Rowling’s bestselling fantasy novels, The Harry Potter film series chronicles the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and his friends Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The story centres around Harry’s struggle against Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard who intends to subjugate the wizarding world.
