Q: I purchased tickets to a session that was cancelled because of a lockdown closure, can I get a refund?
A: For any bookings during a lockdown, please note we attempting to contact everyone, but if we could not contact you, please email all enquiries where possible to [email protected]. Please note phone calls cannot be answered due to restricted staff allowed at the venue.

Our session times for each cinema week (Thursday-Wednesday) are scheduled on the preceding Tuesday. We do sometimes schedule advance sessions and screenings ahead of time but all of our general cinema session times for the cinema week ahead are available and on sale from 2pm every Tuesday. We understand that life is busy and sometimes things come up. However, our terms and conditions do state that Movie tickets purchased via this Website are non-refundable unless required by law.
Ticket exchange: Movie tickets booked in error, or if you cannot make your booking, can be transferred to an alternative session by contacting us at least 24 hours prior to your session Monday to Friday. Sessions over the weekend can only be swapped until 4 pm the Friday before the session. No tickets will be exchanged outside of these times. An administration fee may apply to a ticket exchange.
If you contract Covid-19 Palace Cinemas will exchange your session at any time leading up to your session time. For Palace to process your exchange request, you will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 diagnosis, including the registration number of a positive RAT test, instructions to self-isolate from the government, or evidence of a positive PCR test. Please email the proof to: [email protected] prior to your session time. If an alternative session is unavailable at the time, a credit can be offered with a 14-day redemption period.
If you have received a distributor’s complimentary pass to a certain film, simply check the terms of use on the back. If Palace Cinemas is listed as a redemption location, simply present the card to any Palace Cinemas box office for redemption.
Yes, your eTickets are loaded onto your member account, so log into your member account and the eTickets should come up as an option on the ticket selection page.
All of our cinemas are fully accessible*, with accessible seating available with no steps or other barriers from the entrance. These seats and spaces are reserved for customers who have a genuine need and are only released by cinema staff in person at the cinema or over the phone. Club change cannot be offered at the Box Office or in the member hub until the membership is due for renewal. Two months prior to the month of expiry, the renewal option will appear in the member hub (in the top right corner). Club change can be managed by the member at this point.
If a member doesn’t want to wait for this option to appear (two months prior to month of expiry) this is a manual adjustment that our customer care team can do, please email: [email protected] with club change in the subject line and note that a photograph of current seniors card must be attached as proof of legibility for the discount.

Once signed-in to the Member Hub, click on ‘Update Info’ located in the ‘My Membership’ panel. A page will then pop up for you to update your address, add your date of birth, preferred cinema and change your email or password if you wish.

Q: Where can I purchase Member eTickets?
A: eTickets can be purchased via your Member Portal (screenshot link HERE), you must be signed into your membership account in order to purchase.
Q: When purchasing it asks for a preferred delivery method, which do I chose?
A: Please disregard shipping method, it does not matter which you choose. Purchased Member eTickets will be loaded directly onto your account.
Q: Where can I access Member eTickets after purchasing?
A: When booking online, find your purchased eTickets loaded under the Member Tickets Tab on film ticketing pages (as seen in screenshot link HERE). Alternatively, you can use your tickets at the box office, simply provide your Membership card, and request the use of your Member eTicket.
Q: Where can I see how many Member eTickets I have left?
A: You can check how many you have left via the Member Portal (see screenshot link HERE)
If you haven’t received your E-Ticket after making an online booking, make sure to double check your junk inbox as sometimes Palace emails may default to this inbox.
You can search your junk inbox for [email protected].
If you are still unable to locate your E-Ticket, please call the cinema directly and they will be able to confirm your booking. A full list of Palace Cinema contacts can be found at www.palacecinemas.com.au/cinemas.
The booking fee exists to cover various incremental costs incurred by providing online and I.T. services.
Currently, our website does allow for multiple tickets to be purchased for the same cinema site but does not allow for multiple sessions to be booked across multiple cinema locations.
You will need to checkout when you have completed the booking for each cinema site to begin a new order.
