Set in 1889, Gustave Eiffel is tasked by the French Government with creating something spectacular for the “Exposition Universelle”, however he is only interested in the city subway project. When a long-lost love returns from his youth and plunges him into a whirlwind romance, Gustave is inspired to create something that will changes the face of Paris forever.
The biggest French production of 2020, Eiffel champions the artistry and engineering of the 1880’s in an celebration of Paris. With stunning cinematography, director Martin Bourboulon tells the fascinating tale of one engineer’s endeavours and the genius that produced the Eiffel tower.
