Synopsis
Mathilde, a French journalist, traumatised by the recent death of her husband in Libya, arrives in a Kurdistan village to cover the story of Baha, a lawyer-turned-freedom fighter, and her army known as ‘Girls of the Sun’ as they prepare to liberate their village and free Baha’s son who has been taken hostage by extremists.
