Synopsis

Icelandic comedy royalty Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Þórhallur ‘Laddi’ Sigurðsson unite in the fun Grandma Hofi, a box office hit in Iceland.
Senior citizens Hófí (Edda Björgvinsdóttir, Under the Tree) and Pétur (Þórhallur Sigurðsson, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) feel discarded by the system. Fed up with the conditions of their retirement home, they decide to rob a bank and buy a place for themselves.
Standing in their way are both hardened criminals and inept cops, but these are the most sly seniors around and they’re going to show everyone that you can teach an old dog new tricks…
With a punchy score by Icelandic composer and multi-instrumentalist Hallur Ingólfsson, the nostalgic soundtrack inspired by popular music of the 1950s, 60s and 70s adds raw energy, drive and drama to the entertaining mix.
