Cinema Details
The striking Palace Westgarth, a landmark of Northcote for over 100 years, features five gorgeous art deco auditoria and two stylish bars, including the newly installed courtyard bar. We are proud to offer an alternative to mainstream multiplex cinemas, by showcasing a mix of international and local art-house films, quality blockbusters, operas and special events, as well as our renowned film festivals.
The cinema and phone lines open 15 minutes prior to the first session of the day and closes 30 minutes after the final session of the day, 7 days per week.

Getting There
Unrestricted Street parking after 6:00pm on weeknights and almost all day on weekends, and unrestricted parking except during clearway times on High Street between Union St and Clarke St.
Tram routes 86, stop 27 in both directions.
Merri Station, serviced by the Mernda line, is a 10-minute walk away. Westgarth Station, serviced by the Hurstbridge line, is a 5 minute walk away.
Bus 506 (Moonee Ponds to Westgarth Station via Brunswick) and (City – Queen St to La Trobe University) stop on the corner of Westgarth St & High St.
