From Academy Award and six-time BAFTA-winning writer-director Martin McDonagh (The Banshees of Inisherin, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) comes a blistering dark comedy led by Academy Award nominee Malkovich and Academy Award winner Rockwell.

Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris (Malkovich) and Lee (Rockwell) are sent from Santiago to Easter Island by their bureau chief, MJ (Golden Globe winner Steve Buscemi). Against the island’s iconic landscape, old secrets, hidden agendas and decades of unresolved tension begin to surface, forcing the pair to question their friendship and the choices that brought them there.

An unexpectedly moving reckoning of friendship, morality, and lives spent doing terrible things, Wild Horse Nine is an absurdly poetic, deeply melancholy, and ultimately devastating exploration of what it means to be human. With a wickedly entertaining and cynical yet soulful performance from Malkovich, with many calling it his finest performance of the 21st century.
