The Byron Bay International Film Festival 2021

The Byron Bay International Film Festival (BBFF) returns in December 2021 as a Special Edition of eight incredible feature-length films and a diverse and entertaining range of shorts.

BBFF’s 2021 offering includes a mind-expanding documentary about the nature of consciousness, a study of young American men who resisted conscription to Vietnam, the story of one woman’s courageous battle against genetically modified crops in India, a candid portrait of Lennox Head artist Mark Waller and his family and a chronicle of how a top Australian metalcore band took up the climate change challenge.

Always a celebration of cinema, audiences are invited to explore the human experience during this 15th Edition of BBFF. From the Former Republic of Macedonia to Nashville, Brazil, Bangalow and everywhere in between, this special program has been designed to include a number of films which tell the stories of extraordinary and ordinary people changing belief systems, the people around them and, in some cases, the world.

BBFF2021 will be screening at Palace Cinemas Byron Bay from Friday 17 to Tuesday 21st December.

Tickets sell fast so book early to avoid missing out.
