Synopsis

A big-screen adaptation of Erich Kästner’s best-selling children’s and young adult's novel, THE FLYING CLASSROOM is a thrilling and entertaining adventure featuring an outstanding cast of up-and-coming talent.

Martina lives in a Berlin high-rise housing estate and wins a scholarship to attend a prestigious boarding school in an idyllic Alpine town. Upon arrival, she instantly becomes embroiled in the rivalry between the boarders and the "day pupils" from the local village. There is nothing ordinary about this school and Martina finds herself torn between academic aspirations, family responsibilities, and loyalty to newfound friends.

With gripping twists and turns, this heartwarming story about overcoming fears while growing up shows the importance of friendship, justice and team spirit.
