Synopsis
Collaborators for the last 30 years, with films such as Everynight... Everynight, Silent Partner, Tom White, and The Taverna, Alkinos Tsilimidos and David Field come together again for a riotous comedy, The Kink. Written and produced by Alkinos Tsilimidos, and directed by David Field, Andrew Petroupolos debuts his first feature as the cinematographer. The Kink is the suburban story of a past-his-use-by-date, sex obsessed conman (Mirko Grillini) who is blackmailed by his lawyer’s overprotective mother (Sally-Anne Upton) to do the unthinkable. When he employs his lover’s husband to assist, his world becomes literally, a farce. Swingers, swindlers, gold diggers and mummy’s boys…It’s all about The Kink!
