IFF26 Show Me the Truth

From director Davide Minnella, this biting ensemble comedic drama explores the blurred lines between entertainment and voyeurism and our relationship with the truth, in public and private. The Morettis, a close-knit, affluent Roman family, featuring parents Carolina (Claudia Gerini) and Edoardo (Claudio Amendola), and their children Flavio, Prisca, and Micol, decide to participate in Fuori la Verità, a new game show offering a prize of one million euros. There is only one rule: answer always and only with the truth. But every answer provided hides a lie because no one is honest with who they are and secrets simmer just below the surface. Surrounding them in the TV studio are writers and producers led by the ruthless host Marina Roch (Claudia Pandolfi, Somebody to Love IFF25), who are sharp and determined to push the game beyond all limits for the sake of ratings. Amidst rising tension and unsettling realisations, the Morettis reach a crucial crossroads.
