Synopsis
The barbaric practice of witch-hunting is a global phenomenon and visual media across the world have glorified and endorsed it in multiple forms. Trapped in multiple layers of superstition and motivated by other considerations including economic and sexual gains; witch-hunting in some parts of India takes the form of mob lynching. Dahini- The Witch which is inspired from true events exposes the vested agenda of those sustaining these practices and implores humanity to end it.
