Synopsis
Pinjar is a haunting tale of five entwined lives—Tarak, a weary bird-catcher; his daughter Jhimli; Paromita, a widowed teacher; Shefali, trapped in domestic abuse; and Iqbal, a displaced migrant. At its heart, a caged bird mirrors their silent struggles against patriarchy, poverty, and memory, shaping a lyrical meditation on resilience and the universal hunger for freedom.
