Synopsis
A24 reteams up with newly crowned queen of love triangles, writer/director Celine Song - the mind behind 2023’s Oscar-nominated breakout indie hit, Past Lives - for the star-studded and stylish matchmaking rom-com, MATERIALISTS. Following her masterfully melancholic and quietly devastating portrayal of enduring love in Past Lives, Song finds a lighter and wittier note in MATERIALISTS, but similarly delivers a divinely executed exploration of the human condition.
