Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy

Three young punks. One road trip. Nothing will stop them opening for Green Day. When Tommy (Mason Thames) receives a phone call inviting his band to open for Green Day on New Years Eve, he doesn’t realise it’s an elaborate prank by his older brother, Wayne (Keen Ruffalo). Desperate to believe his life is about to change, Tommy steals Wayne's car and begins driving his band from Kansas City to Los Angeles, hell bent on getting there in three days. What follows is a rowdy and uproarious road trip across America, inspired by Green Day’s early days of touring in a van, years before the release of their breakout record Dookie. Featuring Green Day themselves as well as a star-studded cast including, Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Sean Gunn and Bobby Lee, NIMRODS: A GREEN DAY COMEDY is full of heart, nostalgia and punk-rock energy, capturing the chaos, humour, and ambition of youth in a way that feels both authentic and relatable.
