Parasite

As we bid farewell to The Chauvel, we invite you to join us for one final shared experience in Paddington with a very special screening of Parasite, the highest-grossing film in the cinema’s history. Winner of the Palme d’Or and four Academy Awards including Best Picture, Bong Joon-ho’s masterwork is a razor-sharp, darkly funny and profoundly unsettling modern classic. Crossing languages, borders and audiences, Parasite became a cultural phenomenon and a defining moment for the Chauvel and its community. There could be no more fitting farewell. Join us as we celebrate a cinema built on discovery, conversation and world-class international filmmaking, with the film that meant more to the Chauvel than any other. One last screening. One extraordinary legacy.
