Synopsis
"Sexy, absurd and hilarious." After premiering to an eight-minute ovation at Cannes Film Festival, don’t miss this witty and sharply written 'unromantic comedy' from writer/director Michael Angelo Covino (The Climb). Covino also stars alongside co-writer Kyle Marvin (The Climb) with Dakota Johnson (The Materialists) and Adria Arjona (Hit Man) rounding out the incredibly comedically gifted lead cast. When Ashley (Arjona) asks for a divorce, the good-natured Carey (Marvin) runs to his friends, Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Covino), for support. Their secret to happiness is an open marriage; that is, until Carey crosses the line and throws all of their relationships into chaos. Dubbed “the funniest film of the year” (Awards Watch), this winning indie gem is packed with belly-laugh-inducing moments that make for an endlessly amusing send up of modern romance and dysfunctional relationships.
