Synopsis
Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award winner Jessica Lange is pitch perfect in a transfixing lead performance as a seasoned Broadway legend coming to terms with a life-shattering diagnosis in the poignant and touching love letter to theatre, THE GREAT LILLIAN HALL. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Cristofer, Lange’s exceptional talents are matched by an all-star ensemble cast including Kathy Bates, Pierce Brosnan, Jesse Williams and Lily Rabe. Lillian Hall (Lange), a Broadway actress, has never missed a performance throughout her long, illustrious career. Yet in the rehearsals, her confidence is challenged. People and events conspire to take away her ability to do what she loves most. Anchored by a transcendent Lange, Cristofer has lovingly crafted a powerful drama that sings with heart and humour.
