With no desire to remain at home for the summer, he travels to Provincetown, Massachusetts to chase his unrequited high school crush Nancy. When things go sideways, he accepts a job at a Cape Cod restaurant, learning under the tutelage of Ciro, a Brazilian-born chef and restaurateur.
