Synopsis

Oscar-nominated writer-director Rian Johnson returns with WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY, the highly anticipated third instalment in the acclaimed murder mystery franchise. Daniel Craig reprises his iconic role as the inimitable Detective Benoit Blanc, joined by an all-new, star-studded ensemble cast. When a gruesome and seemingly impossible murder shatters the sanctity of Sunday service at a remote parish in upstate New York, Blanc (Craig) is called in to navigate a community led by the formidable Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin) and his devoted congregation. Teaming up with local police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis), he must unravel a labyrinth of faith, fear, and deception. As the suspects mount - from a fanatical church lady to a haunted young priest (Josh O’Connor) - Blanc finds himself confronting one of his most personal and confounding cases yet. Atmospherically engrossing, darkly humorous, and brilliantly plotted, WAKE UP DEAD MAN is more than a whodunnit - it’s a meditation on belief, guilt, and the myths we tell ourselves. Featuring standout performances from O’Connor and Craig, and a killer supporting cast - including Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church - this third Knives Out mystery is an irresistibly entertaining triumph.
