Royal Ballet & Opera
Located in the heart of London’s theatre district, the iconic 2256-seat Covent Garden (1858) is home to The Royal Opera, renowned both for its outstanding performances of traditional opera and for commissioning new works, and The Royal Ballet, Britain’s largest ballet company.
Teatro alla Scala
La Scala calls the most famous opera house in the world its home, Milan’s 2200-seat Teatro alla Scala (1788). The birthplace of the artform, the theatre's acoustics are said to be perfect.
Teatro dell'Opera di Roma
Taking its current name at the advent of the republic, Opera di Roma performs from the beautiful, 1600-seat Costanzi Theatre, first inaugurated in 1880.
Opera National de Paris
Founded more than three centuries ago by Louis XIV, Opéra national de Paris is one of the world's greatest opera and ballet companies. The company holds performances in two theatres, the 1970-seat Palais Garnier (1875) and the 2700-seat L'Opéra Bastille (1989).
