Marking 50 years in the music industry, Tina Arena: Unravel Me is an intimate cinematic portrait of one of Australia’s most enduring artists. From her beginnings as eight-year-old “Tiny Tina” on Young Talent Time to international success across Australia, the UK and France, the documentary traces a career shaped by reinvention, resilience and an unmistakable voice.
Moving between Tina the power balladeer and queer icon, and Tina, the woman known by her family, director Adrian Russell Wills reveals her vulnerable, tenacious and dryly funny private self. Featuring candid reflections and appearances from Céline Dion, Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas and more, the film explores how music has both made and mended her.
Following the screening, Arena will join Coustas on stage for an intimate conversation about the documentary, her extraordinary career and the woman behind the icon.
