9 to 5: Dolly Parton Tribute

Join us on the 5th of September for a special tribute screening of 9 to 5, celebrating the extraordinary life, talent and unmistakable spirit of Dolly Parton. (On the 5th of the 9th, there’s only one film to watch).

In her feature film debut, Parton stars alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as three fed-up office workers who turn the tables on their sexist, egotistical boss in this endlessly quotable workplace comedy. Bold, hilarious and ahead of its time,9 to 5 became a box office hit and gave us one of Parton’s most iconic songs, earning her an Academy Award nomination and two Grammy Awards.

Singer, songwriter, actor, philanthropist and true cultural icon, Dolly brought humour, heart and generosity to everything she touched. Return to one of her most beloved screen performances and celebrate the woman whose music, movies and larger-than-life personality inspired generations.
