Movie Club Preview: Pressure

The forecast is in... Palace Movie Club Members are invited to see Pressure early at our exclusive Preview on Wednesday 21 October, with discounted member tickets available for this gripping true story ahead of its official release!

From acclaimed Australian director Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai) comes a nail-biting war thriller set across the tense 72 hours leading up to D-Day. Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser stars as General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who turns to chief meteorologist Captain James Stagg (BAFTA winner Andrew Scott) to determine when to launch the largest seaborne invasion in history.

With the fate of thousands hanging in the balance, Stagg must cut through military egos, crushing uncertainty and increasingly unpredictable conditions to make an impossible call. Also starring Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis, Pressure transforms a pivotal moment in modern history into gripping, muscular cinema about weather, warfare and the burden of responsibility.
