Inspired by the unfinished work of Federico García Lorca and Alberto Conejero’s acclaimed play La Piedra Oscura, La Bola Negra moves between 1932, 1937 and 2017, following three men whose lives are connected across generations by desire, secrecy and histories deliberately erased.

As forbidden romances collide with political violence and inherited silence, fragments of the past gradually reveal how one generation’s secrets continue to shape the next.
