In this humorous and heartbreaking road movie, beloved Swedish TV hosts and filmmakers Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson set out on a topsy-turvy road trip through the South of France, aiming to reignite the non-existent zest for life in Filip's father Lars Hammar - a retired French teacher.

The director duo retrace the same road trip the Hammar family used to take when Filip was a child, enabling Lars to revisit the places he has loved most in life, all while secretly orchestrating some of life's most delightful moments. Addressing aging's hard truths through an endearing lens, this wonderfully uplifting and life-affirming documentary manages to beautifully capture the love of a devoted son for his ailing 80-year-old father and ultimate acceptance of the inevitable.
