Joe Bird (Talk to Me) and Stacy Clausen intimately embody Naim and Ryan, magnetically attracted teens coming into their sexuality, yet facing physical and spiritual violence at every turn. When their growing bond is discovered by their community, a ritual is performed on them, releasing a violent entity that takes the form of the victim’s purest desire, each other. At times sensual, and just as often thrilling, with a standout performance from the critically acclaimed Mia Wasikowska, LEVITICUS shines as an authentic reflection on what it means to love queerly despite the persistent dangers from within and without.

The Death of Robin Hood
Director: Michael Sarnoski
Cast: Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, Murray Bartlett
A darker reimagining of a legend long defined by heroism, A24’s THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD recasts its outlaw as a battle-worn figure shaped as much by regret as by myth. From director Michael Sarnoski (A Quiet Place: Day One), THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD brings together award-winning Hugh Jackman alongside Jodie Comer (28 Years Later) and Bill Skargård (Nosferatu). Gravely injured after a battle he thought would be his last, Robin (Jackman) is pulled from the brink by a mysterious woman (Comer), forcing him into a fragile state where survival depends on trust rather than legend. Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, he is confronted with the reality of the man behind the myth, far removed from the folklore that once defined him. As memory and time begin to shift, what unfolds is a slow, unravelling reckoning shaped by violence, regret and uneasy alliances. Somber, atmospheric and stripped of romanticism, THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD lingers on the cost of survival, where redemption, if exists at all, feels uncertain and hard-won.

Hoping to secure their inheritance, they enlist Lori (Coel), a skilled art restorer, to quietly complete the paintings in his distinctive style, blurring the line between preservation and imitation. What begins as an act of forgery gradually unfolds into something more intricate, as Julian and Lori enter a shifting battle of intellect and influence. As their dynamic deepens, questions of authorship, authenticity and ownership come to the fore, revealing the uneasy relationship between artistic creation and commercial value. Wry, intimate and layered, THE CHRISTOPHERS offers a fascinating meditation on how art is created, valued and ultimately claimed, where legacy is as contested as the work itself.

Cast: Margherita Buy, Umberto Orsini, Ydalie Turk
In this bittersweet portrait of a vanishing rural way of life, 28-year-old Dalia leaves London to check up on her ageing grandfather Igor, an expert truffle hunter in the picturesque but isolated Italian region of Piedmont. At first Igor can barely hide his resentment towards Dalia’s intrusion, and the two struggle to find common ground about anything other than Igor’s adorable truffle-hunting dog, Birba. This is until Dalia discovers that Igor is behind on his mortgage payments and sets out into the woods with Birba in tow to find a rare and valuable truffle in the hopes of saving the family home. What ensues is a visually spectacular journey into the rarely seen Piedmont forest, where Dalia and Birba have to contend with rival truffle hunters, the dangers of the forest, and the shady agricultural industry in order to find the legendary lightning-struck truffle. A touching story about intergenerational connection and the passing down of traditions and knowledge, with a scene-stealing performance from Birba the dog (who made its big screen debut in The Truffle Hunters), Gabriele Fabbro’s second feature film is a must for lovers of Italy, food, and dogs.
Scary Movie
Director: Michael Tiddes
Cast: Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans
The horror franchise that skewered a generation returns, with Anna Faris (Cindy), Regina Hall (Brenda), Marlon Wayans (Shorty) and Shawn Wayans (Ray) reuniting twenty-six years after first outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer. This time, the targets are firmly set on modern horror, taking aim at reboots, sequels, elevated horror and every “final chapter” that somehow refuses to stay buried. As Cindy, Brenda, Shorty and Ray are dragged back into another increasingly ridiculous nightmare, nothing is off limits. Reuniting the Wayans brothers with the series that redefined parody cinema, SCARY MOVIE returns to its gloriously unfiltered humour and rapid-fire pop culture satire, where no trope survives, every line gets crossed and absolutely nothing is sacred. Gleefully outrageous and knowingly absurd, it revives the spirit that made the original a cultural phenomenon.
Colony
Director: Yeon Sang-ho
Cast: Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-Wook
As the virus spreads, the order begins to mutate. Straight from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, horror master, writer-director Yeon Sang-ho’s (Train to Busan) latest horror COLONY, is a gore-filled zombie thriller that dives head deep into the anxiety of surveillance and the trauma of contagion. Biotech professor Se-jeong (Jun Ji-hyun) is attending a conference for intelligence and information exchange when she is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a disgruntled former employee, scientist Suh Young-cheol (Koo Kyo-hwan), unleashes a potent and rapidly mutating virus, leaving the infected learning collectively and evolving in minutes. In the multi-purpose building, home to a conference centre, restaurants and retail stores, a ragtag group of the uninfected band together and try to stave off the growing horde of zombies. On the outside, politicians and emergency personnel gather, questioning whether the infected should be treated as patients to be cured or monsters to be destroyed. Featuring standout performances from supporting cast, Ji Chang-Wook, Kim Sin-Rok and Shin Hyun-hee, COLONY is a fascinating exploration of the dangers of rapid communication, showcasing through the collective mind of the zombies that its ability to rapidly relay information is a tool of psychological threat rather than a safety net. Sang-ho brilliantly exposes the complexities of human nature, revealing how quickly one will become a predator when faced with becoming prey.
