TENNESSINE follows Arash (Osamah Sami - Shayda, House of Gods), who against his family’s wishes, arrives in Australia to reunite with the love of his life, the elusive Nazanin (Faezeh Alavi). While the couple spends a romantic weekend in a cabin in the woods, the arrival of Nasser, Nazanin’s supervisor, (Robert Rabiah – Last King of the Cross) leads Arash to a chain of self-destructive events. Set against the backdrop of the desolate Australian wilderness, TENNESSINE is a psychological drama with the taut energy of a thriller, portraying the effects of displacement, belonging and love.
