Starring two-time Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) and following their impressively disturbing breakout Talk to Me releasing to rave reviews, premiering at Sundance and coming in as A24’s highest-grossing horror film ever, the highly anticipated follow-up promises to be its “spiritual successor”, delivering another genuinely hair-raising and haunting experience while also leaning even further into the psychological.

Bring Her Back features young actors Billy Barratt (Responsible Child), Sora Wong and Jonah Wren Phillips (How to Make Gravy), and was shot in the Philippous’ home city of Adelaide with support from the South Australian Film Corporation. Chilling, eerie and visually stunning, the horror possesses a visceral rawness informed by the directors’ own personal loss and grief.
