Formed in Berlin as a performance-art duo including Blixa Bargeld (later of Nick Cave's Bad Seeds) and American expatriate N.U. Exploring their deconstruction of sound from their humble beginnings in an autobahn fly-over hole in Berlin to their later status as some of the most daring musicians to emerge from the early-'80s avant-garde music scene. Showcasing rare footage, interviews, concert performances, and footage of the band's theatrical collaborations with artists Peter Zadek and Heiner Müller, it presents a detailed history of the band and their determination to break down sonic barriers and challenge audience perceptions.
