In the heart-wrenching tale, a group of Korean vacationers finds themselves caught in the clutches of an extremist Taliban faction during their trip to Afghanistan. Faced with this dire situation, the Korean government takes action and dispatches Jae-ho, a highly skilled diplomat renowned for his expertise in crisis management. His mission: to resolve the hostage crisis and bring the trapped tourists home safely. Upon his arrival, Jae-ho fervently seeks the cooperation of the Afghan government, employing every resource at his disposal to secure the release of the hostages. However, despite his tireless efforts, his endeavors prove fruitless, leaving him in a state of despair. It is at this critical juncture that fate intercedes, compelling Jae-ho to join forces with Dae-sik, a seasoned special agent with unparalleled knowledge of the Middle East.
