Directed by prestigious multi-award winner Gerardo Herrero (The Secret in Their Eyes, The Wind That Shakes the Barley) and based on the play by Matías del Federico, In Therapy is a dynamic dramatic comedy.
Three very different married couples undergoing therapy are summoned by their female psychologist to a meeting. The psychologist won’t be attending the session herself, but she provides them with a series of envelopes with instructions about what they must do.
Left to their own devices, the six attendees will gradually air their dirty laundry concerning their relationships, bringing up issues like taking care of the kids, the different home tasks, money, jealousy and sex. As a result, the tension keeps increasing until it all leads to an unexpected and shocking end.
With witty and cutting dialogue, In Therapy features brilliant performances from the ensemble that includes Alexandra Jiménez (If I Were Rich SPA21), Eva Ugarte (You Keep the Kids SPA22, also in The Three Wise Men Vs Santa) and Juan Carlos Vellido (White Lines, Cable Girls, Hierro).
