Exploring the theme of plastic pollution, fish dishes are served following a fishing trip in the ocean – except what’s served up is a ‘different type of fish’.
Children will be mesmerised by a man walking on the ocean floor and deep water swimming, discovering beautiful marine life as he goes. However, as plastic starts to float around him, he is confronted by a ‘whale’ which looks familiar, but different.
A tadpole somehow misses out on becoming a frog and is left behind, alone. But there is much to discover in the pond, and Spring is sure to come again next year. A little story about the big things you learn growing up.
MAYBE JUST A FAIRYTALE
This whimsical short film features Australian wildlife coming to a free concert – with a sting in the tail!
Set in a futuristic Paris, a garbage collector robot is determined to capture a plastic bag as it floats across the city.
THE GUARDIAN ELEPHANT WARRIORS OF RETETI
Reteti Elephant Sanctuary is the first ever community-owned and run elephant sanctuary in Africa. This oasis provides a safe space for baby orphan elephants to grow up, learning how to survive in the wild so they can one day rejoin their herds. This moving short film is as much about the conservationists as it is about the elephants – a powerful story about the changing relationship between people and the animals they protect.
