Reza and Fati separate after nine years of marriage. According to the Iranian law they have 3 months and 10 days to revoke their divorce if they change their minds. Reza who still loves Fati, attempts to start a new life, but Fati does not leave his life and mind easily. Reza is an author who works on a story about his ancestors that immigrated to the historic city of Isfahan years ago. The story begins with a one-hundred-year-old man who is abandoned by his family and left to die in the desert.
